Snow - no really!

Given that the snow has been dominating the news now for what seems like forever, I was wondering how it has been affecting us all in real terms, business wise? Meetings have had to cancelled, supplies have been delayed, staff have been unable to make it into work. What else? How has it affected you?

Just in case you were wondering, this is not research for Owl Business News - we only talk about the good stuff in there, unless of course the snow has benefited your business?

On a personal note I am so over the snow, this is my first winter in the UK for 2 years, and this time last year I was living in Bondi, Sydney, Australia - go on, pity me.....

Hi Deborah,

Well I can't say it's been a bad experience for us. We're getting calls from customers saying that they've received their orders, and all on time for Christmas too :o) So thats a good thing. It has however affected the business networking meets. A couple have been cancelled and the one that went ahead was not a busy one... Which wasn't too bad either as it gave us more time to network. All in all.... Not such a negative experience :o)

Good to hear Michael, it sounds like some of the big retailers could do with taking lessons from you on deliveries!
