On Saturday 25th May Santos are holding an Open Day at our new home, The Oldham Academy North, on Broadway in Royton. This is a free event and will start at 11am and aiming to finish around 12.30pm. The event will be run by our qualified coaches and there will be a special appearance from Chaddy Owl, so aimed at making it a really fun session.

The event is open to any children aged from 4 to 7 years of age and I hope you can make it. If you know anybody else who may be interested then please mention it to them, the more the merrier.

If you have any questions then contact me, Ian Dunkerley, on 07787 114 658 or ian.dunkerley@santosafc.co.uk.

Thanks and Regards
Ian

If anyone is interested in volunteering there are various job clubs around the area to help with, esp business people for interview practice, advice and guidance, CV help etc.  I volunteer (less than I'd like at the moment) with Saddleworth & Lees Job Club.  Re 'flexible volunteering' - isn't that what volunteering is, flexible when it suits rather than the current expectation, I feel, of people having commitment to it.    Volunteering is about fitting in with needs yes, but hence the need for effective management of volunteers not leaving them to cover it, which can happen at times, perhaps, with the aim of the Big Society too?

Ian,

Put me down for a race. Are kids going or do I need to find a shepherd to look after all my kids?

Santos AFC are holding a Race Night on Thursday 5th April and we would love to see all the members from OBN there on the night.

http://www.oldhambusinessnetwork.co.uk/events/santos-afc-race-night

We are also looking for race sponsors, where for as little as £25 you can have a race named after you or your business plus a half page advert in our race programme and a link from our website.
