They are good aren't they?  I check out their list regualrly and pick the ones I am interested in or will help in my business.   I know John through the NLP & EI events Roger runs with Robin, and also, there are some through Online events I 'attend' too.   I have forgotten them occasionally on Sunday nights though! lol

Last night I "attended" my first webinar. Loved it BTW.

It was hosted by Positive Input, a site to support the coaching industry.
They have loads of useful resources and downloads for coaches, therapists or anyone who has an interested in coaching.
Well worth a look;

So how are we all doing this week?
It was Blue Monday on the 21st Jan - reputedly the day we can't get out of bed, motivate ourselves and realise that the festivities are over for another whole year!

We book holidays for something to look forward to, we learn to accept our fate - a long, hard year ahead.  Yes, it's hard to feel motivated - cold, damp, grey days; work much the same; problems arising that feel insurmountable.  But it shouldn'b be that way.   But try to make your own happiness ..

Find something new to start - a hobby, a project to get engrossed in

Treat yourself!  Lunch out, a nice lunch at home, bubble bath or the wine left over from Christmas with your tea!

Smile at everyone you meet.  Make their day and yours!

Share hugs with those you love or like

Acknolwedge what you have - there is always someone worse off than you, little things in your life to appreciate (family, friends, a job, a house, friends, sunshine and lighter mornings!)

Keep smiling.  Keep trying.   Success is about not giving up.  Tack your sails with the prevailing wind but move forward one step at a time, one step each day.

Share here what you can do and share with us to keep us going too!

Thanks for sharing this Julie.

I expect we'll have exactly the year we visualise using these tools.

I am posting various free planners on my blog/website this year so you can plan 2013 and get the most from it.   Have a look at goal and monthly planners to take you into the first full quarter, blog post planners for each week or month so you can link topically or timely for special events.   Tips and tools, quotes and comments on there too for a happy 2013!  Just take a look and see if anything helps.  Also, anything you would like to see here!  Be happy!

I have attended some interesting events recently.  My usual networking, where I've met some unusual or new idea businesses, and lots of learning about business, our local community and personal development options.   I am also learning how to niche my own business - I know what it is I do and offer, but I have known for ages that I need to - but now I feel ready and able to do it!   This relates to both business development, personal /professional values and image perhaps.    Marketing yes, but also our personal needs have to be fulfilled whilst doing the the 'technical' or practicalities of business management.    That is, after all, why we are all in business ourselves - to do it our way!  If only other people could see our business as we do, then they'd understand! :)  Yes, I realise that's the marketing bit but it is selling ourselves perhaps more than our product.

Are you brave enough to ask for feedback about you/your business/image/expectations?  Let me know if you are and I am happy to offer my views too, because after all, they are only mine (or yours) and those insights are the feedback we need to consistently grow and develop - to 'self actualise'!

A little market research here!  Can you tell us why you joined this group - what you wanted to get from it, and how you understand/perceive life coaching?  Had a discussion yesterday and realised how diffiicult it might be to market something if people are reluctant to share there need or access to such services.  Thanks

(Also, then maybe I can provide some of what you want too!)

Simply Networking coming to Oldham - are you interested?  £10 per session, no annual fees, no pressure.  Just register each time with access to Manchester and other UK venues too.    Let me have your e-mail so I can add to the mailing list for regular newsletters and venue/dates.   Look forward to seeing you in November with details to follow soon, or any other month you can make it.
