I have some good books by Damian Hughes who is a professional speaker and coach based in Manchester, his company Liquid Thinker.   I have read one of the four (Liquid Leadership) which is a good read for anyone leading or in business (as we are leaders of our own businesses!) and some excellent exercises to help you focus again on buisness vision, values, mission etc.  The next one for me is Liquid Thinking, and then Survival Guide to Change and Change Catalyst.   I saw him speak through Volition recently and he was quite motivational using NLP and pyschology to explain how we can be proactive, some of which I used in my own information events so was familiar to me.

Check out my blog for updates and reviews of the books as I read them on Clear Mind thinking... (clearmindthinking.wordpress.com)

It might even make me want to catch a bus - what with the fare prices I feel as though I have bought a book not a ticket!

Have you heard about the practice of leaving books on buses?!  I hadn't until this weekend!    couple of years ago one of my daughters found a book on a bus and read it, although not usually an avid reader.  And she loved it.  So much so,k she went out and found other books by the same author.   Mentioning it this week to someone, apparently, they too knew that leaving books is actually a recognised event in London and Manchester.    Some have notes on saying they were a good read so they want to pass it on .... What a nice idea!    I am interested to know if you have done this - bus or other places - and if you picked up anything too.   I might try it one day if I can part with my books.  (But yes, I will bring the Life Coaching book for you Tom - on loan though ...)
