We read about the number of deaths on UK roads decreasing year on year (it is still 1857),but what about the number of deaths/serious injuries and slight injuries - 208,655?
This equates to 4013 crashes every week,or 23 crashes every hour.( and that doesnt include bumps and scrapes that just result in arguments).
I am interested in finding out just why people do not invest more in driving as a life skill..and what it would take to get people back behind the wheel, (eg fuel savings, cheaper insurance - aren't these incentives?) even for just an hour, to improve their drivings skills. The number of times I've heard 'Oh yes he's a good driver' when in actual fact he is diabolical,is untrue.
