I am running 'Drop In' sessions every Thursday afternoon at 87 High Street in Lees.

If you are thinking of making a Will or have any concerns or worries about organising your affairs, please call in for a free one to one chat.  No appointment necessary.

Don't forget it isn't only Wills to think about - you can catch up on

  • Lasting Power of Attorney - why it is sensible to register before losing mental capacity
  • Advance Decision - how to take control of your hospital treatment
  • Inheritance issues - difficult children
  • Worried about care home fees

Are your parents organised so that if they need help from you in the future, they have prepared power of attorney in advance, made their Will, maybe even bought their funeral plan.

It sounds morose, but reality tells us to be prepared.

Great offers and discounts on product bundles.

I am not a Luddite as far as Internet technology is concerned, in fact I think the Internet played a part in my decision to become a Willwriter.  But I need to know if making a Will online is going to replace personal service, fewer practical solutions, lead to more errors, expensive mistakes and poorly produced Wills of inferior quality.

Your Will deals with all your personal possessions, including your family; the most precious of them all.  If the motivation to make a Will is to leave everything in the best possible shape for your family to enjoy for generations to come, why then attempt to do this online where the risk of mistake is potential quite high?  What is the motivation to complete your Will online?  Cost, convenience, using technology because it is there?

What are your views?

Lovable Wills Day 7. Spend a Little Save a Lot.  How spending a modest amount making your Will has the potential to save significant amounts of money on care home fees, probate administration and tax.

Lovable Wills Day 6. The Gift of Thoughtfulness.  Your Will is not just about giving money away, it is a gift to your beneficiaries that leaves your estate organised and easier to deal with.

If you had to sort out an estate of somebody who died without a Will, you would be cursing them for all the extra work and cost involved.  With a well-prepared Will they remember you for the right reasons.

Lovable Wills Day 3. Pay less tax. Follow the link to the blog and if you are inspired, please call for a free chat about your Will.

With the daily economic gloom, and now it's snowing again (in Saddleworth anyway), there isn't much to cheer about.  Making a Will is probably the last thing you can can think of to lift your mood.  But it can and it does!!  My daily snippet informs you how you can keep in control and have a feeling of satisfaction whilst all around there is further economic, political and social bad news.  Give it a try.
