PHYSICAL INTERVENTION TO BE MANDATORY

The SIA have announced that all door supervisors who trained before the new qualification was introduced in 2010 will have to complete an approved PI training module before they can renew their licence. This is welcome news for all those in the industry who campaigned for this and who have seen the difference credible physical intervention training makes to the safety of both customers and door supervisors.
