Pushing comfort zones - a way to grow, learn and expand into our new (improved) selves!

Re Gillian's blog post on comfort zones they are scary yes, but as I said the sense of achievement when you overcome the fear and go to Rochdale (or wherever) is immense. It becomes part of our new comfort zone - it's how we grow and become the person we are today. Sometimes, the person we are is because we didn't learn to push those zones wider and wider - we get stuck (depression, stress, anxiety and panic attacks for example).

I work with them to dicover the issues they are facing, from houing to just being unsure of what websites to use.

I try to sign post them to education, training or employment oppertunites in the area, work experiance is a big issue for a lot of our young people, wwe also have a 12 week proramme deliveed for us by Groundwork Oldham and Rochdale that regularly need work experiance placements as part of the programme.
