I know this isn't particularly Oldham based information but I'm frequently surprised at the number of my clients (mostly Oldham based) come to see me and haven't been making claims for tax credits. Not all accountants advise on tax credits and one client we recently started acting for had made losses for the last three years and hadn't claimed a penny in tax credits despite being entitled to the full £4,600 per annum.
